Director of Hardware Engineering
As the Director of Hardware Engineering, Josef Lex manages WORK Microwave’s hardware development team by providing strong technical leadership and fostering an innovative approach to both product and project based developments. He collaborates closely with the Director of Digital Engineering to ensure their respective components work together.
Prior to that, Joseph was responsible for the redesign of a new hardware platoform for the companies Navigation Simulator portfolio. Josef has more than 20 years of experience in RF engineering, mostly in satellite communication, but also in RF-Sensors. He completed a degree in Electrical Engineering from Munich University of Applied Sciences and earned his diploma thesis at Astrium Ottobrunn, before working with also ASTYX GmbH and ND SATCOM.
