Partners & Bodies
DVB
WORK Microwave is a proud member of the Digital Video Broadcasting Project (DVB), an industry led consortium of over 250 broadcasters, manufacturers, network operators, software developers and regulatory bodies committed to designing open technical standards for the global delivery of digital television and data services.
The membership of DVB gives WORK Microwave advance access to all DVB documentation, including draft specifications. In addition, it allows WORK Microwave to actively participate in the development of future standards.
Research Groups
WORK Microwave regularly invests resources in national and international research projects to pioneer cutting-edge technology.
Previous co-operations with funding bodies include Bayerische Forschungsstiftung, Fraunhofer-Gesellschaft, Deutsche Gesellschaft für Luft -und Raumfahrt, European Space Agency, Bundesministerium für Forschung und Technik and the European Community.
IRG Group
WORK Microwave is an established member of the Satellite Interference Reduction Group (IRG), a leading organization working to reduce satellite frequency interference
WORK Microwave plays an active role in the Carrier ID working group including provision of equipment and support for CID tests intended to check both the modulation and demodulation capabilities in a number of real life scenarios, ensuring products, technology and processes available are capable of transmitting, detecting, and resolving interference.
DIFI
WORK Microwave has joined the Digital IF Interoperability (DIFI) Consortium, an independent space-industry group that formed to advance interoperability in satellite and ground-system networks. It is a growing roster of leading organizations in the space industry committed to bringing innovation to the digital transformation of space, satellite, and related technologies.
As an early adopter of new technologies and a long-term contributor to industry standardization, WORK Microwave has a history of helping advance satellite communication ground technology.
