For our Satcom Digital Product line, we are looking for a
System Architect - SATCOM Cloud Solutions (f/m/d) 
 
with expertise in cloud solutions and background knowledge on satellite communication technology. This opportunity requires a driven engineer willing and able to tackle complex technical issues using expertise and ingenuity. You will be working with a team who appreciates creativity, gathering experiences and getting the job done.

What will expect you in this role:

  • Design scalable, secure, and cost-effective cloud architectures for SATCOM solutions
  • Integrate satellite communication systems with cloud platforms such as AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud Platform
  • Design and enforce security measures to protect cloud-based SATCOM systems
  • Develop and implement cloud strategies that align with business goals and technical requirements
  • Proactive with the ability to effectively collaborate with business stakeholders, designers, engineers, and architecture teams
  • Create and maintain comprehensive documentation or reports of cloud architectures, configurations, procedures, system performance, security and compliance
  • Pre-sales technical consultancy to our customers on product features and updates to enhance their experience on WORK Microwave products

What you can contribute:

  • Proven experience as system engineer and/or operational experience with infrastructure built on cloud and virtualization technologies such as AWS, Google cloud, Azure or similar platforms
  • Knowledge of networking operations, software development, and information security
  • Proficient in cloud ecosystems, APIs, and frameworks
  • Understanding of satellite communication technologies and the infrastructure of satellite ground stations
  • Strong analytical skills to diagnose and resolve technical issues
  • Excellent communication skills in English and/or German, customer oriented attitude
  • Diploma or M.Sc. / B.Sc. degree in computer engineering, electrical engineering or a similar relevant field
