Digital Design Engineer (m/f/d)
for our FPGA design team who shall start to work in a challenging technical environment. This opportunity requires a driven engineer willing and able to tackle complex technical issues using expertise and ingenuity. You will be working with a team which appreciates creativity, gathering experiences and getting the job done.
What will expect you in this role:
- Design, implementation and verification of complex digital designs targeting FPGA devices
- Integrate algorithms for digital signal processing (DSP)
- Close collaboration with our DSP and product teams
- Joint responsibility for the technical team goals: on quality, on time, performance, maintainability and scalability
What you can contribute:
- Enthusiasm for new technologies in the field of high-speed data and signal processing
- 5+ years proven work experience in digital designs on FPGAs within an industrial context
- Expert knowledge in at least one hardware definition language (VHDL or Verilog)
- Very good knowledge of up-to-date FPGA technologies (Xilinx or others)
- Experience with HW/SW Co-Design
- Strong written and verbal communication skills in English or German
- Practical knowledge in the implementation of complex algorithms in digital signal processing (e.g. FEC decoders, digital filters, ...) would be a plus
- VHDL, Verilog, TCL

- Microblaze, ARM, Linux
- Used platforms (selection): Xilinx Ultrascale, Xilinx Zynq Ultrascale+, Xilinx Alveo, Xilinx Versal
