Our Romanian engineering office WORK Microwave S.R.L. is located in Timișoara. In order to support our continuous growth at the Timișoara site, we are strengthening our local hardware development support team. These engineers are based in Romania and work closely with our hardware development department in Germany, providing hands-on support throughout the hardware development process.
Senior Digital Design Engineer (f/m/x)
What will expect you in this role:
- Development of electrical devices and systems
- Special focus on digital hardware as well as system integration and networking of components
- Building up of a deep technical understanding in mixed circuit design and optical electronics
- Layout of complex PCBs
- Simulation of digital circuits
- Architecture and specification of complex systems that include hardware and software components
- Documentation of development results and system architecture
What you can contribute:
- Completed studies in electrical engineering or communications engineering
- Experience in device design and system architecture
- Solid knowledge of network technologies, protocols and architectures
- Knowledge of high speed serial interfaces (JESD204C, 100G Ethernet, SPI, ...)
- Knowledge about electromagnetic interference and compatibility
deep experience in the field of digital circuit design, RF engineering and optical communication - Knowledge of simulation programs (e.g. Xpedtition Hyperlynx)
- Experience in complex PCB layout is of advantage
- Good knowledge of English
- Initial work experience in the above-mentioned areas is preferred, but not essential if relevant experience is available, e.g. from internships, thesis or other projects
- Solid and several years of professional experience in the mentioned areas is essential for this position
