Step into a role as a Product Manager - Virtual/Digital SATCOM Solutions (m/w/d) where your vision drives innovation across space, ground, and cloud — transforming how the world connects, communicates, and collaborates.
WORK Microwaves DIFI-based virtual SATCOM solutions feature advanced digitizers, channelizers, software-defined modems, and network management systems, leveraging sophisticated signal processing and high-performance Ethernet connectivity to drive ground station digital transformation.
What will expect you in this role:
- Define and execute the product roadmap for DIFI based virtual SATCOM products in alignment with business goals and market needs
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams (engineering, sales, marketing, operations) to ensure product success from concept to launch
- Conduct market analysis and customer feedback sessions to identify opportunities for innovation and improvement
- Gather, analyze, and document technical and functional requirements for our virtual SATCOM products in collaboration with customers
- Maintain a clear and prioritized product backlog, ensuring alignment with stakeholder expectations
- Leads high-level stakeholder gate reviews, presenting project status, risks, and ROI recommendations to secure go/no-go decisions
- Monitor product performance and customer satisfaction post-launch
What you can contribute:
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Communications, or related field
- 5+ years of experience in product management, preferably in SATCOM or similar industries.
- Good understanding of satellite communication technologies, standards, and market trends
- Proven expertise in defining product level technical requirements, working with complex systems and managing sub-suppliers
- Understanding of cloud technologies and platforms like AWS, Azure or other cloud providers
- Knowledge of VITA 49.2 based DIFI protocol and IP networking desirable
- Experience with RF systems, modems, ground stations, or satellite payloads desirable
- Ability to travel domestically and internationally as needed
- Good knowledge in English and German (added advantage)
