DLR Institut für Kommunikation und Navigation and WORK Microwave sign Cooperation Agreement for Optical Satellite Communication.
WORK Microwave and German Aerospace Center DLR will foster cooperation on the development of optical Satellite communication technologies. This week, Prof. Dr. Anke Kaysser-Pyzalla (Chair of DLR Exec. Board) and Dr. Thomas Froehlich (CEO Work Microwave) have signed an according cooperation agreement. WORK Microwave has been working with DLR since the 1980s. We look forward to continuing our successful cooperation and to expand it to laser communication by combining leading research assets of DLR in the field with our ability to turn innovation into new products and thus to develop our worldwide leading position on Optical Ground Stations (OGS).
